Musical relay for the community reunited
Born after the Isla Vista shooting in 2014, this ever-developing project calls for artists' actions and responsibilities in social issues. Through deep involvement in the process of music-making with the awareness of surrounding communities, it brings music’s forgotten meanings back to life: music as a social activity, collective creation and expression. This musical relay - one shared theme, endless variations created by different performers, not a single composer – is to make the world better, even a teaspoonful better.
